Following on from the news earlier today that Asuka was injured, it seems the injury curse has struck again in WWE. Monday Night Raw’s Big Cass has suffered what looks to be a terrible injury during his match.

The freak injury occurred during his Street Fight with Enzo Amore. Big Cass attempted to clear the top rope but landed insanely awkwardly – putting his entire leg out of position and clearly damaging his leg in the process.

Big Cass attempted to continue through the injury but did so under intense labor. Soon after, he was forced to abandon the match – the match official throwing the match out. It gave Enzo his first victory over Big Cass.

WWE hasn’t provided an update on his condition thus far. We will provide any official comment on the situation via our WWE Twitter Channel.

For Big Cass, the injury couldn’t have come at a worse time. Having just broken up from Enzo – his singles run was only just finding its feet. As it stands, he looks set to miss potential months if the injury has indeed torn any muscles in his legs. It also leaves Enzo Amore with a lack of options. WWE has been leaning heavily on the Enzo and Cass feud as a way to keep both men on television. Without his former tag team partner, Enzo may find it hard to remain relevant on Raw.

There has been open discussion over the status of Enzo with WWE. Reports (and on-air confirmations) indicate that the former SWAFT member has managed to attain a huge amount of backstage heat with other WWE Superstars. With this reportedly working against him – it’ll be interesting to see what happens in the coming weeks.

We wish Big Cass all the best as he begins the road to recovery.
