Friday The 13th Video Game Set To Murder All Comers This May

Friday The 13th is set to begin massacring unsuspecting gamers when it lands on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC in May 2017.

If you’re looking for a great horror co-op experience, then the upcoming Friday The 13th video game may be just the ticket for you. We didn’t have a release date for it, but now you can officially get hyped for the horror game.

Developed by Gun Media and IllFonic, Friday The 13th: The Game is set to land on May 26th on Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4. Those holding out for a physical copy will be out of luck though, as the game will initially only be distributed via digital storefronts.

The game was originally pencilled in for an October 2016 release – but was pushed back to allow for fine-tuning. It was around this time that the game came to mainstream attention, enticing gamers with its promise of full-on horror shenanigans.

The game sees a group of campers attempting, while another player lumbers around as Jason – attempting to massacre all before them. It’s a simple premise – but it’s one that caught the imagination of gamers a few months back when streamers were allowed to experience the game on Twitch and Youtube.

We’re hyped for the game, even if it does seem a touch on the pricey side for what it is. We’ll be sure to try our hand at the game when it releases in May!

Are you excited for the newest Friday The 13th game? Could this be the one that finally delivers on the tantalising promise of the franchise?
