Netflix has done a great job creating its own corner of Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. From Iron Fist to Daredevil, fans just can’t seem to get enough of the superheroes populating Hells Kitchen. With The Defenders set to touch down this year, the expectation is that we’ll be getting more of the same moving forward. Now Krysten Ritter, the woman who plays Jessica Jones, has stated that she believes Season 2 of the show will be more bingeable.
Speaking to Rotten Tomatoes, Krysten Ritter stated that she believed Season 2 of the popular Netflix series will require a weekend off – so fans will be able to get the most out of the show;
“I feel like it’s a binge show big time. This season maybe even more so than last. Even as I’m getting the episodes and reading them on the page, they ramp up so much at the end that it’s kinda hard to not want to just dive into the next one! So maybe try and savor it, but be prepared to cancel your weekend plans?”
It should be noted that no official synopsis has been released for Season 2 of Jessica Jones yet – although it is deep in pre-production right now. That means that Krysten Ritter will know about the series high points.
Given that The Punisher will be joining Netflix’s ranks next year – it seems as though things will only end up getting bigger. It’s unclear right now if there are any plans to bring The Defenders into any cinematic outings (Rumors suggested they may make an appearance in next years Avengers: Infinity War) but there’s been no confirmation of that.
If you’ve not checked out Netflix’s corner of the Marvel universe, I highly recommend checking them out. They’re all (mostly) a good time – and very bingeable as it is.
