With Marvel’s huge Avengers Infinity War set to land in 2018, fans can’t help but speculate on the fate of their favorite heroes. Rumors abound that at least one major Marvel character will be getting offed during the tentpole movie swirl around Hollywood. Yet we know now that at least one superhero will be making it to Avengers 4, everyone’s favorite soul gem wearing Vision.

Speaking with Collider, Paul Bettany dropped some mighty heavy hints that he’d be rolling up in Avengers 4 – thus guaranteeing his survival in the upcoming Infinity War. He said;

“Yes, it really did. It felt like the biggest movie that I’ve ever made and will ever make, and we’ve still got to make the [next] one. It’s f***ing crazy! I would come in, often at dawn because of the length of my make-up, and there would just be all of these twinkling lights. It looked like a town, but it wasn’t. It was where all of the trailers were. It was just massive. It’s massive! The call sheets are bananas. When you see the list of cast members, you’re like, “How is anybody else making a film in Hollywood, this year? How are they getting films financed? Everybody is in this!””

It’s an interesting stance to take, given that Vision is arguably the Avenger in the most danger. In the MCU, Vision only exists because of the Soul Gem in his head. The fact that Thanos will be rolling up to Earth to rip that from his head would suggest that Vision has a very good chance of not making through the upcoming Infinity Wars.

It must be said that speculation over who survives has been pretty rampant. Suggestions that Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans are near the end of the MCU run has fans wondering

The first footage for Avengers: Infinity War was released back at Comic Con. leaked versions of that footage have made it onto the internet, but Marvel remains adamant that the footage won’t be released in glorious detail until they’re ready.

Who do you think is dying in Infinity War?
