The wrestling world has been watching on in horror as a legend of the industry Ric Flair has been fighting for his life. The former World Champion’s health issues have left the Superstar in critical condition – and an outpouring of support from the entire industry. Now his fiancé has offered an update on his condition, indicating that Flair is still very unwell.

Ric Flair’s fiancé Wendy Barlow took to Facebook, sharing an update on the condition of Ric Flair;

“Just want to give an update to my friends and Family as I have been unable to talk on the phone without crying and just feel shocked over events….I took Ric to the Hospital Friday night with Severe Abdominal pain. From that moment on it all seemed like a nightmare…multiple Organ  problems. Not to go into too many details I want everyone to know he still needs Prayers as he is still in Critical Condition. And No he did not have Colon Surgery….It was another Surgery! I don’t know how the Media comes up with their stories. I have been by his side since Friday and will continue to make sure he is getting the best care possible. Thanks for all of the support and Love.”

Ric Flair was admitted to a hospital in Atlanta over the weekend, where the 16 time World Champion underwent surgery.  It’s also been reported that he’s been placed in a medically induced coma prior to this, although no official word has emerged on what has happened to Flair.

It should be noted that Charlotte has been freed from her Smackdown Live commitments this SummerSlam week to be by her father’s bedside. The Superstar was scheduled to make a series of appearances in New York to help promote the upcoming pay-per-view – obviously, that isn’t happening now.

We join the rest of the rest of the wrestling industry in hoping and praying for Ric Flair to pull through this. With his fiancé and family by his side, he’s in the best place right now.
