Stardew Valley is easily one of the more impressive breakout hits in recent years. With little backing from major publishers and a niche genre of games to play into, the game has gone on to become one of the most beloved videogames in recent memory. Now Chucklefish has begun dropping major hints about the next project they’re working on – and it may be spellbinding.
Finn Brice, CEO of Chucklefish (the publishers of Stardew Valley) has posted a teaser for the company’s next title. Not much is known about it, other than the project is likely to take place in the past and has been characterised as being “Stardew Valley meets Harry Potter”,

It’s clear from the screenshot that magic plays a huge part in the upcoming title – with plenty of witches and wizards. Not much else has been revealed, except that fans shouldn’t be expecting any major announcements for this unannounced title anytime soon.
Right now, Chucklefish is working hard on prepping the Nintendo Switch version of Stardew Valley. No release date has been given for this edition of the game, although it is expected to launch just before the much hyped early 2018 online multiplayer component. That will be launching on all versions of the game when it releases – so no one will miss out.
We’re excited to see what the team over at Chucklefish have in store for gamers. Stardew Valley has proven to be quite the sleeper hit in recent times, being ported to a huge number of consoles and amassing a huge number of fans along the way. Certainly whatever the team has in store next is likely to go down a treat with fans., given that they’ve certainly cornered their market nicely.
Are you excited to hear more about this unannounced game? Would a life-sim game involving magic, witches and wizards tickle your interest?
