Oh 2K, you were so close. Just when it looked like WWE2K18 would have one of the most comprehensive rosters in all WWE games – it seems some fans are going to be left very unhappy with the holes in the roster – as fan favourites Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Drew McIntyre and Lana have been left on the cutting room floor.

Firstly though, the good news. In today’s┬ároster reveal (Which you can watch here) we got a heap of legends and notable additions to the WWE2K18 roster, including;

  • JBL
  • Tatanka
  • Typhoon
  • Tatsumi Fujinami
  • RVD
  • Booker T
  • Batista
  • Trish Stratus
  • Sycho Sid
  • Jake “The Snake” Roberts
  • Christian
  • “Stone Cold” Steve Austin
  • Aiden English
  • Goldust
  • Big E
  • Kofi Kingston
  • Xavier Woods
  • Sting
  • Shawn Michaels
  • Titus O’Neil
  • Enzo Amore
  • The Brian Kendrick
  • Shane McMahon
  • Alicia Fox
  • Stephanie McMahon
  • Ultimate Warrior
  • Charlotte Flair
  • Curtis Axel
  • Bo Dallas
  • Kassius Ohno
  • Darren Young
  • Rich Swann
  • Gran Metalik
  • Noam Dar
  • Jack Gallagher
  • No Way Jose
  • Primo Colon
  • Epico Colon
  • Tyson Kidd
  • Billie Kay
  • Peyton Royce
  • Rhyno
  • Curt Hawkins
  • Heath Slater
  • R-Truth
  • Tyler Breeze
  • Fandango

Combing that with the lists already published, there’s a huge selection of Cruiserweight, women and NXT talent to keep fans happy. I’m particularly thrilled to see Billie Kay and Peyton Royce making the cut.

Sadly, as seems to be the annual tradition, some major Superstars have all but been ejected for reasons. It’s more awkward in the case of Drew McIntyre and the Hardy Boyz, who have both been with WWE since April. You would have figured that 2K would have gone out of their way to get one of the more popular acts in the company on the video game.

Alas, it seems fans will have to wait and hope that 2K roll out the wrestlers as DLC (Something they haven’t talked about thus far).

Are you happy with the roster? Does the exclusion of the Hardy Boyz frustrate you?
