Players of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed: Origins have seemingly stumbled upon a raunchy easter egg within the game – one that fully makes use of the games 18+ age rating.

Eagle-eyed fans have spotted the R-rated goings-on in one of the games many villages – specifically the Herakleion Village. One Reddit user took it upon themselves to investigate the situation, managing to snap an incredibly obvious man-on-man sex scene within the game.
Assassin’s Creed Origins is rated 18+ so it’s no surprise to see this content in the game. It is unusual to see such an act depicted in such a direct way within a video game, which are usually very tame in their approach.
If you’re curious to get a look for yourself (Because what else are you going to do with your 4K consoles?) you can find the easter egg in the Herakleion Nome area (Way up in the northeast section o the game’s map). From here, you have to wander down past the brothel on the easternmost island and you should hear the unspeakable act being performed at street level. From here, head up to the balcony above the door of the brothel and take a gander through the window.
Rather amusingly, other gamers have attempted to follow in the footsteps of the original poster, only to discover a number of variations at play. Some have reported a group of men and women lying a bigger group experience while others report being able to repeat the above situation. It seems that the programmers behind the game wanted to have some fun with those who managed to locate the raunchy easter egg.
It’s not clear if or when Ubisoft may eject this little fun piece of gameplay.
Our Take: What else were the Ancient Egyptians meant to do? Between all that sand and sun, got to pass the time somehow.
