Undertaker Announces His Entry Into The Royal Rumble
Undertaker made a rare appearance on WWE’s flagship Monday Night Raw programme this week. There was much speculation over what the veteran WWE Superstar would be announcing. Turns out he’s going to be making one of the biggest Royal Rumble events of all time much more interesting – entering himself into the match.

It’s a surprising move for the Deadman who hasn’t appeared in a Royal Rumble match for over five years now. Having won the match once – where he went on to face Edge at Wrestlemania 24, he certainly has history in claiming success at the event.
The Undertaker however did not declare which of the World Championships he would be chasing should he win. One of the benefits of the Brand Extension is that winners of the Royal Rumble can choose which Championship they want to chase – allowing Superstars to opt into the brand of their choosing. Rumors have suggested that AJ Styles or John Cena would be Undertaker’s opponent this year – putting the Deadman back onto Smackdown Live.
Undertaker hasn’t been apart of WWE’s weekly roster for a good number of years now. He’s saved for special appearances and Wrestlemania mostly. In recent times there was concern over the state of his health, as he was pictured limping. We guess this puts those (bad) rumors to bed.
This years Royal Rumble match is shaping up to be a huge treat for fans. With Brock Lesnar, Goldberg and a number of other Superstars already declaring their intent to compete in the match, it’s going to be an exciting one to predict. We honestly can’t predict the outcome ourselves.
Are you excited to see Undertaker return to the Royal Rumble? Do you believe he could win the event and go on to main event Wrestlemania? Who are your picks for WWE’s annual event?
